Ereignisdetail
Come join us for a juicy night of laughter, games, and pure unfiltered fun. This summer, we’re serving up jam-themed improv jams—because why not keep things fresh?
This event is non-profit. The price is just to cover the cost of the room, any leftover money will be donated 100% to a local charity for the homeless (more info in Mylaga.org).
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A mix of short form games and experimental short-to-mid formats
- A welcoming space to meet fellow improvisers and new friends
- A night of spontaneity, silliness, and surprise
Do you have a game or exercise you’d love to try? Drop us a message—we’re all ears.
This is neither a show, nor a class (then what is it?)
Improv jams are a space for performers to practice and learn from each other. There is no audience. If you sign up, you will be playing! And each Jam is independent of other Mylaga events - no long term commitment needed.
Boundaries & Safety
The jam hosts wish to be as accommodating as possible, so feel free to let them know if you have any specific needs (e.g. boundaries, triggers).
- We seek everyone's cooperation in making the jams an open and inclusive safe space, for anyone to take part in.
- We remind all attendees to be respectful & 'punch up' during their scenes (e.g. avoid homophobia, misogyny, racism, etc.)
What is required to join?
If you have never done improv before but are keen on trying, please write us to shows@mylaga.org. We are organizing some one-off classes to prepare you for these summer jams.
About the money:
The team behind these jams organizes them just to share some fun moments. So the price asked is just to cover the costs of the room, and all the profits generated go to a local charity for the poor. If you have financial troubles and you can't afford the symbolic price we ask for, let us know, we'll be happy to anyway let you join.
Where is it? FYE Academy (near the María Zambrano station)
